UNIBIND manufacturing Ltd. is a company focused on design, production and distribution of products for presentation and protection of printed documents.
From the first document binding machine to the recent SteelCover System, Unibind has grown through technical innovations with the same aim: always making the document presentation more attractive and more durable and the systems more aesthetic, faster and easier to use for everyone.
Unibind was established in 1979, following the invention of the UniCover, the first innovative binding system that Unibind launched on the market more than 25 years ago. In 1985 Enthoven Associates designed the binding machines Unibind 45, a milestone in Unibind industry design. They also drew the present Unibind building in Puurs, Belgium, which features a futuristic glass pyramid to house a part of the offices. This office and manufacturing complex was officially inaugurated in 1988 by the Belgian Prime Minister.
The major product change came in 1994 with the introduction of the SteelCover, a revolutionary binding cover system. In 1996 the SteelCover System was completed by a new series of binding machines, the first fully automated systems.
Unibind also introduced a complete range of accessories, featuring a number of products to help our customers' presentation needs: special binders with storage boxes and ring mechanisms, ledges for storage into binders, self-adhesive pockets and pouches for business cards and CD ROMs, stands etc.
